Working with Song Hinh protection forest management board (Song Hinh PFMB)
Experts of IREN and UNIQUE forest and land use (UNIQUE) worked with Song Hinh PFMP on April 17th, 2017. This is one of cooperation activities among IREN, UNIQUE and Song Hinh PFMB about support of raising management skills and introduction of silvicultural techniques in timber forest business.
During working sessions, the discussions have been done with positive conclusions, recognition of difficulties and challenges as well as having the future cooperation orientations.

Working team visited the pilot model of conversion from acacia forest to native forest belonging to the management of Song Hinh PFMB. The total area of pilot model is 13 ha on the two sites with different condition.

In upcoming time, there will be cooperation in order to conduct the other pilot models in timber forest business.
